Refund policy
Last updated 31 July 2026
The short version
We accept returns when something is wrong with your order: it arrived damaged, it's faulty, we sent the wrong thing, or it never turned up. We don't accept returns simply because you've changed your mind or decided the product isn't for you.
Please read the product page properly before ordering — particularly the part explaining that Mobile Mount works over Remote Play, and the 110mm phone width limit.
Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer protection or warranty laws of your state.
What we accept a return for
Damaged in transit. The mount, an adapter or the packaging arrived broken, cracked or crushed. Tell us within 7 days of delivery.
Faulty or defective. The clamp won't hold tension, the gears slip, an adapter won't seat properly, or a part fails in normal use. Tell us within 30 days of delivery.
Wrong item, or something missing. You received something other than what you ordered, or the box was missing the clamp, an adapter or a component. Tell us within 30 days of delivery.
Never arrived. Tracking shows the parcel lost, or it was marked delivered and you don't have it. Tell us within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
What we don't accept a return for
We can't take an item back because you changed your mind or decided you don't like it, because you ordered it by mistake or bought it for the wrong setup, or because your phone turned out to be wider than the 110mm limit stated on the product page. We also can't accept returns where the product doesn't do something we never claimed it does — most commonly, Remote Play performance over weak wifi or mobile data, which we are explicit about before you buy.
Beyond that: damage from drops, misuse or modification isn't covered, nor is normal wear after a period of use. Items that come back with parts missing, or in a condition we can't identify as ours, can't be refunded. Neither can anything raised with us more than 30 days after delivery.
We're a two-person company selling a single product at a price with very little margin in it. Taking back used units we can't resell is the thing that would close us down, which is why this policy is tighter than a large retailer's.
How to start a return
Email support@game-armour.com with your order number, one sentence on what's wrong, and photos or a short video showing the problem. For damage or a fault the photos matter — they usually mean we can put it right without you posting anything back to us.
We reply within one business day and tell you whether we're issuing a refund, sending a replacement, or asking for the item back. Please don't post anything to us before we've replied: unapproved returns can't be matched to an order and may not be refundable.
Who pays return shipping
If the problem is our fault — transit damage, a fault, the wrong item, missing parts — we pay. We'll email a prepaid label, or refund your postage against a receipt.
Where we agree to a return as a goodwill exception outside the reasons listed above, return shipping is at your cost and isn't refundable.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. We issue them within 7 business days of approving the return, or of receiving the item where we've asked for it back. Your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 3–10 days to show it.
We refund what you paid for the item. Where a whole order is refunded because of our error, we refund the shipping too.
Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel any order for a full refund at any point before it ships. Email us and we'll do it. Once the parcel is with the carrier, the sections above apply instead.
If we're running late
We aim to dispatch within 8–12 business days. If we can't meet that, we'll email you with a revised shipping date and the option to cancel for a full refund. If we can't give you a firm revised date, you can cancel for a full refund. That is your right under the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, and we'll honour it without argument.
Your rights under state law
This policy sets out what we offer voluntarily. It doesn't limit or waive any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness that applies under your state's law, any right you have under your state's consumer protection statutes, or your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
Some states give buyers extra refund rights where a seller hasn't clearly disclosed its policy. We publish this policy on our website, link it in the site footer, and link it in the checkout footer, so you can read it before you pay.
