Why it costs what it costs

Metal gears, not moulded plastic teeth

The tension mechanism is geared metal. Cheap clips use plastic ratchets that round off after a few dozen open-and-close cycles and then never grip properly again.

Rubber-padded jaws that hold under load

Your phone sits in soft grip pads, not bare plastic. It stays put when you are leaning back, throwing the controller around in a race, or handing it to someone.

Nothing gets blocked

Charging port, buttons, triggers and speakers all stay clear. You can play plugged in, which matters, because streaming eats battery on both ends.

One mount, both consoles, any phone

Modular adapters mean the same clamp works on a DualSense or an Xbox pad. Fits phones up to 110mm wide, with or without a case.

Who you are buying from

Direct, not through a marketplace

game-armour.com is the only place this is sold. No retailer margin stacked on top, and no chance of a lookalike arriving instead of the real thing.

Two people, one product

We designed this, we pack the box, and we answer the emails. That is also why the price is what it is: there is no big company overhead built into it.

Delivery

Two separate things, and we would rather be clear about both. We pack and hand it to the carrier within 24 to 48 hours. That part is on us and we do not sit on orders. It then reaches you 8 to 12 business days after you order, so call it two weeks once weekends are counted.

Standard US shipping is free. Express is available at checkout from $2.99.

Returns and warranty

30-day money back

Email support@game-armour.com within 30 days and we refund you. No restocking fee, no arguing, no returns-portal maze.

Two-year parts warranty

Every part of the mount is covered for two years from the day it arrives: the metal gears, the spring, the clamp jaws and both console adapters. If a part fails in normal use, tell us and we will replace it.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, excessive force, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by using the product outside of it's intended purpose.

Everything else

Does this work away from home, on mobile data?
Yes, however Remote Play needs a stable connection to your console, and mobile networks add lag. It will work best on wifi.
Do I need to buy a separate version for PS5 or Xbox?
No. Both adapters are in every box. Swap between a DualSense and an Xbox pad in seconds.
Can I charge the controller while I play?
Yes. The mount is designed around the ports, so charging, headphones and buttons all stay accessible. Worth doing, since streaming drains both the phone and the pad.
Is my phone actually secure in it?
The jaws are spring-tensioned through a metal gear mechanism with rubber grip pads. It holds through hard racing sessions and being passed around. It is built to be opened and closed daily for years, not a few dozen times.
What if I do not get on with it?
Email support@game-armour.com within 30 days and we refund you. No restocking fee, no arguing, no returns-portal maze.

Mounting, fit and choosing a mount

How will I know my product has been shipped?
Every order ships with tracking. As soon as we process and dispatch your order we email the tracking number to you, so you can follow it from our warehouse to your door.
How do I mount my phone for gaming?
Clip the mount onto the controller you already own, then open the spring-tensioned jaws and set your phone between them. The jaws open to 110mm, so most phones fit with the case left on, and the rubber padding holds the phone without marking it. One mount works with all three supported controllers, so there is no separate purchase if you switch console.
What accessories improve mobile gaming comfort?
The biggest single gain is playing with a full-size controller instead of touchscreen controls, because you get proper sticks, triggers and grip. The Mobile Mount lets you use the pad you already own, whether that is the PS5 DualSense, the Xbox Series X/S controller or the Xbox Elite Series 2. After that, a battery pack and a set of low-latency earbuds cover the rest of a long session.
Does the gaming mount work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. It grips the phone itself rather than plugging into it, so it does not care which operating system you run. The clamp opens to 110mm, which covers current iPhone and Android handsets, and the rubber-padded jaws protect the finish.
Can I use a gaming mount with a case on my phone?
Yes. The 110mm opening is measured to clear a phone in a normal case, and the jaws sit away from the volume and power buttons so nothing gets pressed while you play.
Cheap vs premium gaming mounts: what is the difference?
Cheap mounts use moulded plastic teeth for the angle hinge, and those teeth wear down and start slipping. Most of them also fit one controller only, so you buy again the moment you switch console. The Mobile Mount uses a metal gear mechanism for the angle adjustment, and the adapters for all three supported controllers are in the same box: PS5 DualSense, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Elite Series 2.
What is the best gaming setup for travel?
A controller you already own, your phone, and something that holds the two together. The Mobile Mount is compact enough to live in the same bag as the controller, and because it works with all three supported controllers you are not packing a second mount for a second pad. Pair it with PS Remote Play, Xbox Remote Play, Xbox Game Pass or GeForce NOW over a stable connection and your console library travels with you.
What makes a good gaming mount?
Three things. It should fit more than one controller, it should leave every port and button reachable, and the hinge should be metal. Plastic hinge teeth are the part that fails first. The Mobile Mount covers all three: PS5 DualSense, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Elite Series 2, geared metal angle adjustment, and clear access to the charging port so you can play while the controller charges.
How stable are phone mounts during intense gameplay?
That comes down to the clamp, not the price tag. The jaws on the Mobile Mount are spring-tensioned through the metal gear mechanism, so the pressure holds instead of creeping loose, and the rubber pads stop the phone sliding under fast stick and trigger input.
Are gaming mounts safe for phones?
The two risks with a bad mount are a scratched phone and a dropped one. Every contact point on the Mobile Mount is rubber-padded rather than bare plastic or metal, and the angle adjustment runs on metal gears, so the phone stays at the angle you set it instead of drifting down mid-session.
What accessories do pro mobile gamers use?
A real controller comes first, because almost nobody plays competitively on touch. After that: a mount to hold the phone at a sensible viewing height, wired or low-latency wireless audio, and a power source, since streaming a console to a phone drains a battery quickly. The Mobile Mount handles the first of those and keeps the charging port clear for the last.
